The project implements high Green  Building standards with lowest energy footprint accomplished by Bermad’s innovative sanitation.

Bermad is proud to make its contribution to one of the most prestigious housing projects in Brazil. The company has been selected to supply its water solutions for a major construction projects at the Olympic Village in Rio De Janeiro. The project IIha Pura comprised of 31 buildings of 17 floors specifically designed to meet the needs of more than 18,000 athletes during the Olympic games. Once the games are completed the apartments shall be sold in order to answer the high demand of housing in Brazil.

Bermad, known for its high quality hydraulic control valves, has implemented Its air valves for automatic control of water supply systems. The system can regulate water pressure and designed for drinking water and water reuse. Since the system is external to the water reservoir it is easy to maintain and damages are easily prevented. This system of control valves provides superior performance and capable of controlling and regulating the flow and level of the water supplied from a main reservoir through pressurized network.

The system is designed to cater the athletes’ highest standards as well as the project’s sustainability agenda being Rio de Janeiro’s top neighborhoods. This achievement is the work of Engineer Rafael Antunes of ELECOMTECH, our dedicated agent in Rio along with the Bermad Brazil team.
