Bermad Fire Protection

Bermad Fire Protection Project in Malaysia – Petronas – PFLNG 2

Petronas first floating liquefied natural gas (PFLNG 1) facility, also known as PFLNG SATU, has been developed for the Kanowit gas field off the coast of Sarawak in Malaysia. It is the world’s first FLNG facility.

Recently, Petronas celebrated the official steel cutting of its second floating liquefied natural gas facility, the PETRONAS Floating LNG2 (PFLNG 2), designed for the Rotan field, 130km offshore Sabah in Malaysia.

Project Description – Fire Protection Valves for Offshore Applications

Applications needed:

-High Capacity Pressure Control Deluge Valves

-On/Off Deluge valves for Seawater

-Foam Concentrate Valves

-Nickel Aluminum Bronze with Monel Trim

Bermad’s Solution

Bermad Models FS-400Y-3DC/4DC/6DC/3D And FS 400Y-3X

Product Details:

– 400Y-3DC – Details:

The BERMAD model 400Y-3DC is an elastomeric, hydraulic, line pressure operated deluge valve, designed specifically for advanced fire protection systems and the latest industry standards.

The 400Y-3DC is activated by a 3-way solenoid valve by which opening and closing of the deluge valve may be controlled remotely.

An integrated pressure reducing pilot ensures a precise and stable pre-set downstream water pressure.

The 400Y-4DC is ideal for open-nozzle systems with a high pressure water supply. Available with electric components to suit any hazardous location.

– 400Y-4DC – Details:

The BERMAD model 400Y-4DC is an elastomeric hydraulic, line pressure operated, deluge valve, designed specifically for advanced fire protection systems and the latest industry standards.

The 400Y-4DC is activated by a pneumatic relay valve.

Opening and closing of the valve can be controlled remotely.

An integrated pressure reducing pilot valve ensures a stable and precise pre-set downstream water pressure.

The 400Y-4DC is suitable for open-nozzle systems with a high pressure water supply and/or relatively low flow.

The pneumatic control makes the 400Y-4DC suitable for freezing environments and /or corrosive water supplies.

– 400Y-6DC – Details:

The BERMAD Model 400Y-6DC is an elastomeric, hydraulic line pressure operated deluge valve, designed specifically for advanced fire protection systems and the latest industry standards.

The 400Y 6DC is activated by a fall in pneumatic pressure of the pilot line or by an electric signal to a 3 way solenoid valve.

The 400Y 6DC can also be activated remotely either pneumatically or electrically. When open an integrated pressure reducing pilot valve regulates the main valve to maintain a precise, stable, pre-set downstream pressure.

Opening or closing of the valve can be performed remotely.

The 400Y-6DC is ideal for open-nozzle systems with a high pressure water supply.

It is available with electrical components to suit any hazardous location.

– 400Y-3D – Details:

The BERMAD model 400Y-3D is an elastomeric, hydraulic line pressure operated deluge valve, designed specifically for advanced fire protection systems, and the latest industry standards.

The 400Y-3D is activated by a 3-way solenoid valve. Opening and closing of the valve can be controlled remotely.

The valve’s position monitoring device features a visual position indicator that can interface with any fire & gas control system.

The 400Y-3D is suitable for systems with open nozzles for water or foam discharge. Available with electric components to suit any hazardous location.

– 400E-3X – Details:

The Bermad Remote Controlled On-Off valves replace motor driven valves or actuated quarter turn valves. They are especially suitable for oscillating or remote controlled Monitors, and for installation in modern foam systems where a shut-off function is required.

The hydraulic actuation by a compact solenoid is resource saving, while providing maximum safety.
